ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Motion Graphic Designer, you’ll create high-quality visual content across short-form and long-form video.
You’ll work with scripts, ideas, and creative concepts and turn them into engaging, attention-grabbing visual stories designed to communicate clearly and hold audience attention.
This role is ideal for someone who understands that great motion design is not just about making things move — it’s about using motion, design, and timing to tell a story.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Create motion graphics and animations for social media, explainers, and long-form video content.
- Translate scripts and creative concepts into visually engaging, retention-focused videos.
- Build clean, modern, and high-impact visual systems.
- Work closely with writers, editors, and creative teams to bring ideas to life.
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects, from initial concept to final delivery.
- Apply strong principles of pacing, transitions, typography, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Continuously experiment with new visual approaches to make content more engaging and effective.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong working knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
- A solid understanding of design principles, animation, visual hierarchy, and pacing.
- Ability to create polished motion graphics with clean execution.
- Strong sense of timing, composition, typography, and transitions.
- Ability to understand a script and translate it into an engaging visual story.
- An ownership mindset and the ability to take projects from concept to completion.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with writers, editors, and other creative team members.
THE KIND OF DESIGNER WE WANT
We’re looking for someone who thinks beyond templates and plugins.
Someone who understands why a frame moves, not just how to move it.
You should be able to make intentional creative decisions — knowing when motion adds meaning, when simplicity works better, and how design can improve attention, comprehension, and retention.
If you care about the thinking behind great motion design as much as the execution, you’ll fit right in.
HIRING PROCESS
Candidates who move forward will be taken through our candidate briefing and subsequent hiring stages, where we’ll explain the process and evaluate your design and motion skills.
