About the Opportunity
Are you an experienced Technical Designer with a keen eye for fit and a passion for bringing apparel to life? You will be instrumental in ensuring that every garment meets the highest standards of fit, comfort, and design integrity, directly influencing customer satisfaction and product success. What You’ll Do
Execute the entire technical design process from initial development through to final fit approval, acting as a key individual contributor.
Analyze and evaluate garments to develop precise fit specifications, ensuring consistency and quality across product lines.
Collaborate with vendors and factories, developing comprehensive technical specifications and communicating detailed fit comments and pattern corrections.
Make appropriate adjustments with factories to uphold the integrity of approved design prototypes, balancing quality with targeted pricing.
Own and lead fitting sessions independently, demonstrating strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to achieve optimal garment fit.
Ensure products are developed in alignment with established fit quality standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost parameters.
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
5-10 years of dedicated experience in technical design, with a career path primarily focused on technical apparel roles.
Demonstrated experience in conducting and owning fitting sessions independently.
Proficiency in writing detailed fit comments and executing pattern corrections.
Strong command of industry-standard software, including Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and Flex PLM.
Experience with specific apparel categories, such as intimate apparel or sleepwear.
Proven experience with plus-size fitting and technical design.
A flexible and adaptable approach, capable of navigating and resolving complex challenges.
A supportive team player who can maintain composure and effectiveness in fast-paced or stressful situations.

Exceptional expertise in the technical design field, showcasing a deep understanding of garment construction and fit.
Involvement in volunteer or community service, demonstrating a commitment beyond professional duties.
