Our client is an AI-native platform for planning and booking corporate hospitality: dining, catering, and events. The product has two sides. Enterprise customers use it to plan and book; hospitality venues and restaurants use it to field, manage, and win that business. This role designs for the hospitality side.
You'll own the experience end to end for venues and the event managers who run them: onboarding, mobile, and the AI agents that field inquiries and answer questions before they reach a person. You set direction for that area and are accountable for its quality. You'll work as a peer to the hospitality product lead on strategy and roadmap, and you'll be in front of venue customers yourself, running discovery and putting work in front of them.
You Will:
Own the end-to-end experience for the hospitality side of the product, from problem framing through launch and iteration, and stay accountable for its quality
Set strategy and shape the roadmap with the hospitality product lead, deciding what to build and why before problems are scoped for you
Own the personas: know how venue teams and event managers actually work, and know the biggest challenges the onboarding, CS, and sales leads are hearing from them
Run discovery and testing with venue customers directly, and build the relationships that let you go back to them
Design for how venues really operate, inside the tools they already use
Translate complex, multi-step, data-heavy workflows into clear journeys across web and mobile
Communicate in whatever form moves the work: mockups, flows, written problem statements, lightweight specs
Use AI tools throughout the work, for research synthesis, writing, prototyping, and iteration, and bring a point of view on what makes an AI product good
Steward and extend the design system, including the call on when to break a pattern
Raise craft across the team through critique and pairing
You Have:
5 to 8 years in Product or UX design, with meaningful time on B2B, enterprise SaaS, or workflow-heavy products
A portfolio of end-to-end initiatives you led and shipped, with evidence of the outcomes
Strong visual judgment and taste, and the ability to explain why something works or doesn't
The ability to bring structure to undefined problems and align cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders around user needs and business outcomes
High agency: you decide what matters and move on it
Comfort being the face of design with customers
Fluency in Figma, plus working comfort with Claude Design and Claude Code
Experience mentoring designers or raising a team's craft bar
Bonus points for: hospitality or hospitality tech (restaurant or venue operations, booking platforms, tools built for operators); early or founding designer at a startup; two-sided marketplaces; iOS native mobile; travel, expense, or fintech platforms; front-end literacy.
