Our client, a well-known creative agency behind Broadway shows and marquee NYC attractions, is partnering with a one-of-a-kind wedding attraction inside one of New York City's most iconic landmark buildings to find a part-time Social Media Manager who lives and breathes wedding content. This is a hands-on role for someone who can run the social presence and create the content that fills it, all with a real point of view on the modern wedding world. You will act as the social media manager, content creator, and community manager for the wedding attractions social accounts. You will be responsible for monthly content calendar creation, posting, and community interactions. You will also handle client communication, attend regular meetings and be available to attend in-person shoots. While you will be responsible for content creation, you will have access to a designer, video editor, and videographer as needed.
You know this space like the back of your hand. You could rattle off your ten favorite spots to source wedding flowers in Manhattan without blinking, and you could turn around a post on the summer's most popular first dance song before lunch. You're both a strategist and maker, comfortable owning the content calendar and shooting, writing, and editing the content that goes on it.
You Will:
Own the day-to-day social presence across the brand's primary platforms
Create original content (photo, video, and copy) that captures the magic of the space and the weddings within it
Plan and manage the content calendar around seasonal moments, trends, and live events onsite
Stay ahead of wedding culture, from vendors to viral moments, and translate it into content that resonates
You Have:
Strong, demonstrable experience running social for a wedding-focused brand, venue, or vendor
A deep knowledge of the NYC wedding scene, its vendors, its venues, and its trends
The ability to both strategize and produce (you're as comfortable with a content calendar as you are with a camera)
A portfolio that shows off your wedding content and the results behind it
Logistics:
Part-time, roughly 10 to 20 hours per week
Starts August 17th
NYC-based, with occasional meetings in the office and regular visits to the site
$35 per hour
Interview Process: 2 Rounds:
Initial Interview with the Account Manager
Interview with a member of the wedding venue's team
To be considered, please email your internal contact or [email protected] with your resume and why you're a fit.
Hourly rate: $35/hr
