Founded in 1975, CAA represents many of the most successful professionals working in film, television, music, theater, video games, sport, and digital content, and provides a range of strategic marketing and consulting services to corporate clients.
The Department
We work with the world’s leading film studios, streamers, talent, and creators to connect their biggest properties with brand partners. Our creative team supports the sales team by building custom presentations that turn a complex partnership story into something a brand can see, feel, and say yes to.
Responsibilities
Create original layouts/templates, visual systems, and art direction within custom, high-impact sales presentations that reflect the tone, style, and IP of each property while elevating the brand partnership story
Translate strategy, research, and creative concepts into polished, persuasive visual narratives, from first concept to final delivery
Partner closely with colleagues to understand each pitch’s objectives and shape the story visually
Own your project timelines by building workback schedules, setting review checkpoints, and flagging risks early to ensure on-time delivery
Work fast in a deadline-driven environment, balancing multiple projects and shifting priorities without compromising quality
Integrate AI and emerging design tools into the workflow to improve efficiency, creativity, and output quality
Maintain rigorous quality control on typography, imagery, consistency, and overall polish across every deliverable
Stay current on design innovation, marketing trends, entertainment releases, and pop culture to inform and inspire the work
Contribute to team templates, best practices, and the evolution of the team’s creative standards
Responsible for supervising and mentoring a direct report, ensuring they are effectively trained in administrative tasks that support the team’s preparation and delivery of client presentations
Qualifications
6-8+ years of professional design experience, ideally in an agency, studio, brand, or in-house creative environment
An exceptional design eye and proven experience designing presentations for sales and/or business development teams, translating narratives, ideas and strategy into clear, persuasive visual storytelling through pitch deck development and mockups
A portfolio that shows sophisticated typography, layout, art direction, and craft
Expert-level fluency in Keynote, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong command of emerging design and AI tools, with a clear point of view on how to use them to raise the quality and speed of the work
A high personal bar for quality and ability to self-edit before work leaves your desk
Strong time management skills, ability to define and hit review checkpoints and deadlines across multiple concurrent projects
A collaborative, adaptable working style, comfortable taking feedback, pivoting quickly, and partnering closely with creative colleagues and sales leads
Genuine passion for and knowledge of marketing, entertainment, and pop culture
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate and workshop design decisions
