DealMaker is a fast-growing fintech company revolutionizing the capital markets ecosystem with a mission to make online capital raising mainstream. We empower founders, CEOs, and operators to raise capital digitally, both from their own communities and through strategically marketed campaigns. No other platform provides an end-to-end solution like ours—and our track record speaks for itself, with over $2B raised across 1,000+ campaigns. We power the largest online capital raises for customers like EnergyX ($88M), Green Bay Packers ($65M), Miso Robotics ($72M+), Monogram Orthopaedics (Nasdaq:MGRM) and many others, with 3 IPOs in the past year alone. We are quickly expanding our horizons and are seeking talented team members to join us on our journey to transform the global capital market.
WHO YOU ARE
You write with authority about complex financial concepts and make them land with audiences who don't have time for jargon. You think in systems — you see a benchmark report and immediately map the blog series, the social clips, the email nurture, and the sales one-pager it can become. You're equally comfortable setting content strategy and sitting in a Google Doc at 10 pm, making a paragraph sing. You move fast, you back your instincts with data, and you treat a stale editorial calendar as a personal affront.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own the content strategy end-to-end — from editorial planning and audience targeting to channel mix and performance measurement — positioning DealMaker as the definitive voice on retail capital.
- Write and edit high-quality long-form content, including benchmark reports, blog posts, customer stories, and thought leadership pieces that educate prospects and build category authority.
- Build a repeatable repurposing framework that transforms every pillar asset — reports, webinars, major campaigns — into sustained, multi-channel content streams that keep working long after launch.
- Create and manage multi-format content across blog, social, email, and emerging channels that drives awareness, education, and pipeline across the full customer journey.
- Partner with GTM, Product Marketing, and Sales to develop cohesive narratives, compelling copy, and content amplification strategies for product launches, events, and campaigns.
- Translate positioning and messaging into high-converting website copy in close collaboration with Product Marketing and GTM teams.
- Use analytics and performance data to measure content impact, surface audience insights, and continuously sharpen messaging and strategy — bringing a test-and-learn mindset to every channel.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate production, repurposing, and research without compromising DealMaker's voice or quality bar, and push the content function to move faster and do more with every cycle.
WHAT SKILLS YOU NEED
- You bring proven experience writing and editing long-form B2B content — blogs, reports, case studies — and you know how to make technical subject matter compelling without dumbing it down.
- You've built or owned a content strategy before, not just executed against one, and you understand how content maps to demand generation and pipeline.
- You know how to work cross-functionally: you can pull insights from a Sales call, pressure-test messaging with Product Marketing, and ship on deadline without hand-holding.
- You use SEO and AEO principles to drive discoverability, you track performance data fluently, and you make content decisions based on what the numbers say — not gut feel alone.
- You also know how to build a content repurposing engine, not just repurpose one-offs, and you can maintain quality and consistency across channels and formats simultaneously.
- You proactively use AI writing and research tools to accelerate your work, improve your workflows, and scale output — not as a crutch, but as a force multiplier.
- Bonus points if you've worked in fintech, capital markets, or financial services; have experience shaping content for a high-growth B2B brand; or have owned website copywriting and conversion-focused messaging.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- 30 Days: You've audited the existing content library, mapped gaps to customer journey stages, and published your first owned piece that reflects DealMaker's voice and retail capital positioning.
- 60 Days: You've delivered a repurposing framework for at least one pillar asset and launched the first coordinated content push aligned to a live campaign or product moment.
- 90 Days: You own a functioning editorial calendar, you've demonstrated measurable content contribution to pipeline metrics, and you've shipped at least one benchmark report or major thought leadership asset end-to-end.
