About the Team
Launched in 2021, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform. The Fanatics Sportsbook is available to 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. Fanatics Casino is currently available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Fanatics Betting and Gaming operates twenty-two retail sports betting locations, including the only sportsbook inside an NFL stadium at Northwest Stadium. Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.
Qualifications
Must have basic computer knowledge
General Sports and Sports Betting knowledge preferred, but not necessary
Must have a minimum of 1 years of cash handling experience in a work setting
21+ years of age or older
Must be able to obtain a Gaming License from the MD Lottery
Must be able to provide a high level of customer service in a very fast paced environment
Present yourself in a professional manner
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to do simple math
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
Provide the highest level of customer service, ensuring that all customers feel comfortable and become regular guests at Fanatics Sportsbook.
Write, verify, and make payments on tickets for sports wagers in accordance with department policy and procedures and ensures compliance to applicable jurisdictional gaming statues and regulations
Maintain a cash bank for his/her shift, responsible for accepting payment and making correct change when necessary
Stock sportsbook Writer/Cashier's stations with adequate supplies; keeps all stations neat and clean
Write Sports tickets in an accurate and timely manner
Make payments on winning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verify tickets and payoffs
Maintain and reconcile bank for assigned shift, following established cash-handling policies and procedures
Explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to guests
Provide information and assistance to customers in a friendly, courteous manner to ensure the delivery of guest service. Offer information on activities, etc., and direct guests for further information as necessary
Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner
Notify management of escalated or prevalent guest issues/concerns and any apparent suspicious activity
Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by MD Lottery and Fanatics.
Become familiar with entire bet offering and be able to answer questions about the offering with confidence.
Work to resolve customer disputes/complaints and escalate to direct supervisor when needed
Have a positive attitude that helps ensure a great work environment
Ensure that all necessary paperwork/documentation is filled out accordingly to company policy
Other duties as assigned

Ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. The range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual offer is confirmed.
