We’re partnering with our clien specializing in electrical distribution equipment to find a talented Wire Diagram Designer. This full-time role is remote and involves creating detailed wiring diagrams and schematics. The position offers an opportunity to lead your own projects within a collaborative engineering team. There is no application deadline for this role.
Wire Diagram Designer Responsibilities :
Develop accurate wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and schematic drawings using AutoCAD and BPP tools.
Manage workload effectively while adhering to project schedules and milestones.
Incorporate feedback and revisions from production and engineering teams into your drawings.
Communicate potential issues or risks to project leaders proactively.
Ensure drawings comply with company standards and relevant electrical codes.
Wire Diagram Designer Qualifications :
At least 3 years of electrical drafting experience, especially with control panels or power distribution.
Proficient in AutoCAD, including tool palettes, custom blocks, and layer management.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and customer specifications accurately.
Familiar with NEC, UL 891, UL 1558, and ANSI/IEEE standards related to panel wiring.
Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
