Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that pairs remote work with top-tier talent. We help individuals from around the world connect with great companies that are looking for their specific skill set. Our mission is to provide great jobs to talented people, no matter where they are located.

We're looking for a fast, skilled Video Editor to join a high-output creative team producing direct response video ads for a multi-eight-figure ecommerce brand. You'll be editing VSLs and UGC content specifically built for paid Meta placements. This isn't polished brand content, it's conversion-focused creative designed to stop the scroll, hold attention, and drive action.

This is a high-volume role (~250 videos/week), so speed, consistency, and an instinct for what performs are essential.

Responsibilities:
Edit VSLs and UGC ads for paid Meta ad placements (Facebook & Instagram)
Apply direct response editing techniques: strong hooks, pattern interrupts, and retention-focused pacing
Add captions, text overlays, and CTAs optimized for silent/mobile viewing
Integrate B-roll to support storytelling and maintain viewer engagement
Collaborate directly with UGC creators (via text) to gather raw footage and creative direction
Maintain a high output of approximately 250 edited videos per week
Review ad performance data and iterate on edits to improve hook rate, retention, and conversions
Stay current on Meta ad creative trends and direct response editing best practices

Requirements
Proven, direct experience editing VSLs and UGC ads specifically for US Meta ads on multi-eight-figure ecommerce brands (portfolio/reel required)
Strong grasp of direct response creative editing techniques (hooks, pattern interrupts, retention pacing, CTAs)
Proficient English (written and spoken) for clear communication with creators and team
Ability to consistently deliver high volume at speed (~250 videos/week) without sacrificing quality
Comfortable working with performance data to inform creative decisions
Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of assets and deadlines
Reliable internet connection and editing software/hardware capable of high-output workflows
