Motion Designer – Fixed Term Contract
About the Role
We’re looking for a talented Motion Designer to join our creative team. This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in motion design who can take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery. You’ll play a key role in bringing ideas to life through engaging, high-quality motion content across a range of platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Conceptualise, design, and execute motion graphics for digital platforms (social, web, video, campaigns, etc.)
Take ownership of projects from brief to final delivery, ensuring high creative standards
Collaborate closely with designers, creatives, and stakeholders to develop compelling visual narratives
Translate static designs into polished, dynamic motion pieces
Maintain consistency with brand guidelines while contributing creative input
Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Provide guidance and support to junior team members when needed
Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques
Requirements
3+ years of experience in motion design or a similar role
Strong understanding of motion design principles (timing, pacing, composition, storytelling)
Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects
Solid working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
Strong design sensibility, including typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
An interest in and willingness to engage with emerging technologies
Strong communication and organisational skills
A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating a range of motion and design projects
Nice to Have
Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro)
Experience working with branding, campaigns, or social-first content
Understanding of sound design and audio syncing
